Working Safely During Covid-19

This policy outlines the social distancing and hygiene measures that will be followed during your Art installation to minimise risk for all parties. In order to prioritise the health of our clients and our family we ask for your cooperation with the following procedures as we continue to work in residential and commercial property.

This policy will be susceptible to changes in line with any additional changes that the government may introduce.

• If any member of a client or installers household develops symptoms or tests positive to Covid-19 prior to a booking, they are to inform the other party at the earliest opportunity to reschedule the appointment.

• If any member of a client’s or installers household develops symptoms or tests positive to Covid-19 in the 5 days following a Hang My Art appointment, Hang My Art is to be informed at the earliest opportunity.

• The installer reserves the right to leave the property if Covid-19 symptoms are displayed by clients or installers during installation. The call out and hourly rate will still be charged.

• Installers will travel to client properties using the Hang My Art van for transport.

• The Hang My Art van will be regularly cleaned using gloves and standard cleaning products, with emphasis on handles and other frequently touched surfaces.

We ask clients to:

• Have hand washing facilities available.

• Leave all internal doors open to minimise contact with door handles.

• Pay via BACS to avoid contact during payments. An invoice will be emailed to all clients following completion of install.

Installers will:

• Maintain 1+ metre social distancing with clients.

• Wear a face covering.

• Regularly use antibacterial hand sanitiser.

• Cover nose and mouth when sneezing and coughing and dispose immediately of single-use tissues.

• Regularly wash hands.

Thank you for your support and co-operation. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions or queries.

Stay safe,

David and Julia
